7 arrested in Lutz marijuana grow operation worth $1.3 million

LUTZ, Fla. (970 WFLA) - Hillsborough County Sheriff’s officials say seven people were arrested and facing charges after deputies bust a marijuana grow operation. [photos below]

Deputies say on June 3, 2014, they executed a court authorized search warrant for 17304 Lynndan Drive in Lutz where they found a marijuana grow operation.

Deputies say seven suspects were inside the home and all were arrested. 

HCSO says deputies seized 680 pounds of marijuana with an estimated street value of $1,360,000.

 

Deputies say the following were arrested:

42-year-old Tarafa Rafael Lorenzo of Miami - charges: manufacture of marijuana, trafficking in marijuana

53-year-old Felix Andre Perez of Tampa - charges: manufacture of marijuana, trafficking in marijuana, obstructing or  opposing an officer

35-year-old Roniel Pantusasarabia of Tampa - charges: manufacture of marijuana, trafficking in marijuana, vop

26-year-old Roriel Bores Lugo of Lutz - charges: manufacture of marijuana, trafficking in marijuana

46-year-old Vladimir Hernandez of Tampa - charges: manufacture of marijuana, trafficking in marijuana

24-year-old Armando Gabriel Amador Prado of Miami - charges: manufacture of marijuana, trafficking in marijuana, obstructing or opposing an officer

49-year-old Juan Carlos Rodriguez of Naples charges: manufacture of marijuana, trafficking in marijuana
