Makeup tips for chicks with glasses [MAKEUP JUNKIE]

After I picked out TWO new pair of glasses from my friends at Eyelasss World last week, I la-la-love this article I saw in "OK Magazine"...how to wear your makeup when you are werqin it in your super cute, trendy frames!

Cat Eye: Though a cat-eye frame will flatter with most face shapes, they look best with heart shapes as they provide balance and help narrow your jawline.

“Play up a cat-eye frame by mimicking its shape with winged liner or smoky shadow. Top it off with a bold lip in bright matte orange or fuchsia,” according to Celebrity Makeup Artist Moani Lee.

Nude: Nude colors can range from gray to taupe to pale pink and flatter a range of skin tones while looking subtly sexy.

“Nude frames enhance understated sexiness. Makeup for nude-colored frames should be subtle and classic. Skin should be flawless, brows should be well-groomed and cheek, eye, and lip colors should be skin-toned taupes, soft browns, grays, or nude pinks. For a bit more flirt, try a bold Hollywood starlet red lip for a classic twist," says Lee.

Avant-Garde: Large, dramatic shapes are so versatile —they can add just the right amount of funky flair or polished edge to a look.

“Play off the dramatic shapes by keeping skin matte and use a semi-matte lip color. Too much gloss paired with a high-impact shape can be overwhelming. Let your glasses be the star and focus on neutral, perfected skin tones and textures," says Lee.

My 2 new glasses...and 2 feet up after a job well-done ;)
