After hearing her daughter wrote a letter to the president asking for her presence for her 10th birthday, Melissa Higa decided it was time to come home from duty. The letter her little girl wrote is a follows:
Dear President Obama,
My mom is stationed in Korea. Can you please call her boss and tell him/her to please let her off? So she can come home for my birthday on Monday because I miss her and love her very very very much and if she can't come home I would be very very very sad.
